Rooster Rojo Tequila has announced a major new listing and is to be the tequila of choice at glamorous, après-sea SkyBar club nights in the southwest of England this summer plus festivals in Scotland and London. The brand is arriving in style: for the first time in the UK, Rooster Rojo will have a beautifully liveried bar bus.
The brand is also now available in the southwest of England through St Austell Family Group, which is listing Rooster Rojo Blanco, one of four tequilas in the collection.
Tina Connolly, Senior Brand Manager at Amber Beverage UK, which distributes Rooster Rojo, explains: “Rooster Rojo will be making a big impact in the southwest this summer as well as in Scotland. This isn’t just an ordinary bar. We have customised a huge vehicle rather elegantly and the Rooster-mobile will be driven to a range of events in the southwest and also make appearances at the Foodies Festivals in Glasgow and Edinburgh in August and at London Cocktail Week in the autumn.”
Rooster Rojo is a premium 100% blue agave tequila from Mexico and recently launched a global advertising campaign reminding people to SIP DON’T SLAM to underline the fact that well-made tequilas are designed to be sipped and enjoyed for their fine agave taste. It’s the perfect spirit to enjoy as a sundowner and then into the night.
The SkyBar all-night, capped capacity music festivals overlooking West Country beaches will be a huge draw for surfers, swimmers, and fashionable holiday makers.
Tina Connolly added: “The SkyBar events are a cross between the VIP area at a festival and a beach club the difference being that, at these, every person is a VIP. Each is in a beautiful setting, with good music and with premium food and drink offerings. Tequila is the next big trend in spirits, and we see these events plus the London, Glasgow, and Edinburgh events as a great way to introduce Rooster Rojo to consumers who don’t yet know the brand.
“Bars, pubs and restaurants across the UK might wish to consider stocking up with this brand as more and more people become aware of it via our advertising and activations such as these events. The bus underlines the quality but quirky attributes of Rooster Rojo Tequila.”
The brand’s bartenders will be creating two cocktail serves for guests: Frozen Margaritas using Finest Call Margarita Mix with Reposado or Blanco Rooster Rojo; and a Pink Paloma mixed using Rooster Blanco, Re’al agave, FC lime, and pink grapefruit juice.
