The company now has a consolidated portfolio from this month, including AGB wholly owned brands such as Rooster Rojo Tequila, KAH Tequila, Moskovskaya Vodka, as well as Luxardo Liqueurs, De Kuyper Liqueurs, wines from Familia Martinez Zabala, and the Stoli range, together with brands previously in the Indie Brands portfolio including Don Papa, Arran Scotch Whisky, and Fortaleza.

In June 2023, ABUK and Indie Brands relocated from their offices in Derbyshire and Kent, respectively, to new premises in Charlotte Street, Fitzrovia, in central London. Also in June, the stockholding of both businesses was consolidated into one warehouse meaning that trade customers can now place a single order for any brands across the business portfolio so providing a seamless system.

Jekaterina Stuģe, CEO of ABG, said: “We are pleased to announce this latest move for our important UK business. Our desire to better serve our customers and our third-party brand owners is always uppermost in the minds of senior management and this consolidation supports that aim of becoming more streamlined.”

Sam Thackeray said: “We have made significant progress in integrating ABUK and Indie Brands. I am looking forward to delivering a more seamless experience to our UK trade customers through our new systems and processes. This enhanced focus will enable our team to maximise the opportunity for all brand owners whose products are included in our portfolio and will help penetrate all channels of the market even more thoroughly in the future.”

Amber Beverage Group acquired a majority stake in Indie Brands in 2020. Following the acquisition, Indie Brands’ founder, Douglas Cunningham, has left his operational role within the business and become a Non-executive Director of the ABG Supervisory Board. The integration and consolidation process has followed the appointment of Sam Thackeray, who succeeded Douglas Cunningham as the CEO of both companies in January 2023.

Amber Beverage Group (ABG) is a rapidly growing global spirits company, whose products are found in millions of households and venues across the globe. In the UK, the company operates through Amber Beverage UK (ABUK) which distributes ABG core brands across the country; it also represents a number of third-party drinks brands. The company has over 20 years’ experience and has been part of ABG since 2018.
