Moskovskaya Vodka announces new distributor in the United States

Amber Beverage Group has appointed Blue Spring Imports to distribute Moskovskaya® Vodka in the US, one of the oldest vodka brands. Blue Spring Imports will be introducing Moskovskaya’s new bottle design to the US market, the first redesign since 2012, as part of Moskovskaya’s global marketing campaign.

Moskovskaya Vodka has taken a bold new step in its creative direction by revamping its bottle design and creating an exciting new marketing campaign celebrating its pioneering spirit. The Green Is An Attitude campaign breathes new life into the brand to communicate a premium, modern drinking experience to consumers whilst retaining the core values of Moskovskaya’s Russian authenticity and heritage.

Commenting on the appointment of Blue Spring Imports, Helēna Zakmane, Global Brand Director of Moskovskaya Vodka says: “Moskovskaya is one of the oldest vodka brands in the world. The exciting new creative direction for Moskovskaya in the US heroes the bottle and the brand’s striking green colour. The Green Is An Attitude campaign includes contemporary street art and dynamic ink depictions of classic Russian icons including Moscow’s Red Square and the wild eagles and animals found in the depths of the Russian forests. The new label highlights the prestigious Osobaya category, a unique category of unflavoured vodka created by Russian pioneer M. Kucherov in 1938, which is highly regarded for its purity and great, smooth taste. A double-headed eagle has also been added to the label as a tribute to Imperial Russia, celebrating the period in history when Moskovskaya was first produced in 1894. The bottles’ new design will open a new chapter in the brand’s story, appealing to a new generation of consumers in the US and reinvigorating this classic brand.
