Latvijas Balzams retail shops change their concept and design

The first Latvijas balzams specialized beverage shop with a new-look concept and design recently opened in Old Riga, at Valnu Street 21. Part of the Latvijas balzams shops chain, the store offers customers a contemporary and comfortable shopping environment and a wider assortment of beverages.

 The company plans to open several stores with this new concept in the Latvian capital Riga and in the resort town of Jurmala over the next two years, investing around half a million euros in the modernization.

The renovated stores offer a wider choice – more than 500 alcoholic beverage brands, national souvenirs and sweets popular among tourists and local shoppers. The new shops will also delight coffee lovers by offering a range of coffees to take away.

At certain times there will be a self-service tasting corner, where it will be possible to sample the shops’ latest products.

The new design and concept of Latvijas balzams shops also reflect the transition of the largest alcoholic beverages in the Baltics, JSC Latvijas balzams, to a new visual identity next year, marking the company’s 115th anniversary.
